Ocean Economy Satellite Accounts (OESA) can be a useful tool to support ocean governance post-2030 and design target-setting processes. Drawing on recent research and working papers, this webinar will: 

• Introduce Ocean Economy Satellite Accounts (OESA) and provide guidance on how to get started, including defining the scope of an ocean economy and identifying core economic indicators 

• Address data limitations and explore practical approaches to building robust economic baselines with available data 

• Advance the post-2030 agenda by assessing what can be measured well now and how current measurement capabilities should inform target-setting processes
